Nightcrawler (Kurt Wagner) is a fictional character within the Marvel Universe. He has been associated with both the X-Men and Excalibur, originally appearing in graphic novels published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Len Wein and artist Dave Cockrum, he first debuted in Giant-Size X-Men #1 (May 1975). Dave Cockrum designed Nightcrawler to be used in a new series The Outsiders set in the universe of DC Comics' Legion of Super-Heroes series[1]. Cockrum was working on the series just before he went to Marvel, and Nightcrawler's costume design (and overall unusual look) fit well into the Legion's design scheme[citation needed].The bust can be displayed in two different poses,with his fist or sword. The bust is individually numbered on a metal plate to make it a limited edition bust. It stands about 11" tall on special featured reversible base. The bust is a limited edition, and the piece will be individually serial numbered on a metal plate on the base.
